Did you call it? Yep: ELLE's editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy has been turned into an Android - and for a brilliant cause.

On behalf of ELLE, Lorraine is harnessing pixel power to take part in the first global Pride parade, #AndProud, which is bringing people together vitually to celebrate Pride and stand in solidairty with LGBT communities worldwide. (Hence that rather brilliant rainbow tamourine.)

The Google initiative is being supported by a number of famous faces who have also Androidified themselves for the cause, among them Sam Smith, Sir Ian McKellan, Tom Daley and Kylie Minogue.

The online celebration of Pride will coincide with the famous parades in San Francisco, London and New York - look out for some of the best Andoidified characters on the Google floats in each city.

And, if you're wishing you could get involved, you're in luck: you can. To join in, simply visit Androidify, where you can create your own Android character to party on the weekend of 27-28 June side-by-side with others from around the world.

See you there!
