It’s official: Clueless director Amy Heckerling has announced that the 90’s film will be adapted into a show for Broadway. I know, we're freakin'.

If you’re anything like us, then Clueless will be your favourite films of all time.

From Cher’s wardrobe, to Tai’s ‘rollin’ with the homies’ moment, to Dionne’s freeway freekout, we can recount every scene (and line) from the cult 90s film.

And now we will have the chance to relive the Clueless memory as a musical. Here's everything we're hoping from the show.

To play Cher...

Katy Perry? As if! We think current queen of pop - and the world - Taylor Swift will be the perfect Cher. Bestie Selena Gomez would play the fabulous Dionne and Lorde as the hopeless Tai (DUH!).

The theme song will be 90s

We’re rooting for a reprisal of Coolio’s ‘Rollin with the Homies’, but we also wouldn’t complain if Cher’s character was to burst out into a solo rendition of Britney's Toxic. What can we say, we're 90s obsessed.

The clothes should be everything

We’re hoping this will bring back the plaid-suit, knee-high socks, Alice band combo. But we’re also looking forward to the jaw-dropping moment of watching Cher make her way down the stairs in that Calvin Klein white bodycon dress. We want one.

And of course the Clueless dictionary...

Aside from the clashing outfits and head-banging beats, the film wouldn’t have been the success it was without it’s iconic lingo. We’re totally bagging on a comeback of words like ‘totally’, ‘monet’, ‘phat’, ‘as if’ and of course our all time favourite, ‘Whatever!’.
