Novelist Zadie Smith is set to make her debut as a screenwriter on French director, Claire Denis’ new film.
The story will be a space adventure, set in a futuristic world. But we’re sensing that this will be less Space Invaders and something a little more high brow.
Best know for her novels White Teeth and On Beauty, the British novelist will collaborate on the project with her husband, the poet Nick Laird.
In a cinematic climate saturated with prequels, sequels and reboots, we’re excited to see what Smith has in store.
