Magic Mike XXL, Channing Tatum's second gift to womankind (bless him), has brought a record number of ladies to the theater, according to Deadline—no surprise, really, if you've seen any of the trailers/posters featuring Tatum, his crew, and ABS.
The film made history Thursday with its 96 percent turnout for women, CinemaScore reported, beating The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (94 percent) and Sex and the City 2 (90 percent).
During its opening weekend, Magic Mike XXL was fourth at the box office, earning a nice little $12.9M and $27.9M total in its first five days out.
