JK Rowling has had it with body shaming twitter trolls, especially ones that dare talk badly of Tennis champ Serena Williams.
Our favourite author, who is known for her tendency to call out twitter trolls, raised the stakes this weekend by responding to one remark concerning tennis pro, and life hero, Serena Williams.
Rowling had been closely following the match, tweeting enthusiastic updates to her nearly five million followers.
With Serena’s victory the author exclaimed ‘#SerenaSlam! I love her. What an athlete, what a role model, what a woman!’
However, not everyone was so impressed by the win, as one twitter user – who has now conveniently deleted the tweet - responded to Rowling saying the main reason for Serena’s success is that she is ‘built like a man'.
But Queen Rowling was not about to let this pass, slamming the troll by posting pictures of Serena looking badass in a red dress and heels saying: ‘“She is built like a man”. Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You're an idiot.’
Rowling’s response has since received over 100,000 favorites and 83,353 re-tweets. Including us.
