Just last week, Caitlyn gave Laverne a shout-out in her ESPYs speech: "There have been so many who have traveled this road before me," she said, listing Cox, Renée Richards, Chaz Bono, and Janet Mock as examples. "I wanted to thank them all as well as the ESPYs and the late Arthur Ashe and his family."
