So far, the news surrounding Fifty Shades Darker has been rather drama-filled: Directors leaving! New screenwriters tapped! But Henry Cavill, a.k.a. the new Superman (and, let's not forget, The Tudors alum, because #smokin) may be here to save the film (or really, its press). Cavill is rumored to be joining the sequel as Anastasia Steele's hunky (and creeptastic) new boss Jack Hyde—and he did nothing to squash those reports:

'Basically what I can say is I can't say anything about it right now,' Cavill told E! Online when asked about the film this week.

And he wasn't done. 'How can I make this interesting? I think it's probably best that I say nothing for now,' he told ET in a separate interview. 'At this time, I'm not allowed to say anything.'

Well, mission accomplished, Cavill. We're intrigued because wouldn't this be a nice addition to the Fifty Shades screen?

(Yes.)
