As godmothers go, Jamie King's newborn son Leo Thames has a pretty good one. None other than Taylor Swift has stepped into the role, and you know she'll be great at it. Case in point; new photos of her first meeting with the baby showed her expertly cradling him, while looking all kinds of smitten as he peacefully snoozed in her arms.
From Leo's bountiful tufts of hair to the way mum, Jamie, proudly gazes at him, Taylor's first meeting photo with the baby is enough to make us weep actual tears of joy. Pushing us over the edge is Jamie's caption, which read: "My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss. X".
All the crying Emojis.
Taylor shared a special snap of her own, which showed Leo clutching her glitter-tipped fingers. Because all fairy godmothers need sparkly fingernails. She captioned the photo, "Your little hand's wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight..." - which are very apt lyrics taken from her song Never Grow Up.
Speaking of lyrics, what's the betting that little Leo gets a song all of his own? After all, it's clear that Taylor is pretty chuffed with her new job as the boy's godmum. On first being asked to take on the role, she posted this adorable Instagram photo...
... And wrote: "Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one..... (ME)".
Congratulations all round, guys!
