Caitlyn Jenner's reality show I Am Cait is doing an incredible job at touching on every aspect of going through a gender transition. We've seen the Olympian greet her daughter Kylie for the first time as a woman, and now she's discussed her struggles with trying to hone her 'best feminine voice'.

She explained on the show that, when she still identified as Bruce, she would impersonate a woman while calling hotel receptions, to see what they would say.

'I'd be sitting there in my room all by my little lonesome, and I'd be thinking: 'Okay, I'm going to try get my best feminine voice and call down so they say 'yes ma'am',' she told Kim Kardashian, adding, 'I could never do it.'

So, Kim asked her to give it a go right there and then for her and her friend Malika Haqq, as she picked up her phone and pretended to be the most famous receptionist in the world. But, talk about being put on the spot; Caitlyn paused for a little while, before confidently saying: 'Okay... Yes, actually, you can help me.'

Kim's verdict? 'You sound no different!' to which Caitlyn laughed and said, 'See, that's the problem.'

Later, in one-on-one time with the camera, Caitlyn explained why the voice is a significant part of her transition, stating that 'women can not relate to the whole voice thing. They don't see it as being that important, when it is that important.'

She added: 'Not only for you just to speak and order and do all of that kind of stuff, but very important for your soul that you're feeling good about that.'
