Ryan Reynolds, a man who diligently withheld his and Blake Lively's daughter's name for three months, revealed on Conan O'Brien's show last night that the now 7.5-month-old James is talking—and her first words make it clear who's the favorite parent.

'Right now she's starting to say "mama," but there's an unfair advantage there,' Reynolds said. 'It turns out that breasts are actually a life support system, and the child seems to gravitate towards the breasts. I'm just the breasts-less asshole wandering around the room and getting in her sightline every once in a while.' And the Blake favoritism goes far beyond James's very limited vocabulary. '[Right now,] it's all about mom. I am dead to her. That's her first words, ironically: "You're dead to me."'

Reynolds also recounted what went down in the hospital when his wife gave birth ('I was there for the conception of the child so the least I could do was be in the delivery room.'). It involved a lot of jokes from a possibly drugged-up Blake:

Meanwhile, we, along with the rest of the world wide web, will keep our eyes peeled (or shut?) for that terrifying photo you mentioned, Ry.
