Just the mention of Titanic is enough to get our bottom lips quivvering, and I bet that most of us could quote most of the film without even thinking. The most iconic scenes are of course, fail-safe tear-jerkers - Jack teaching Rose to fly at the front of the ship, the tremble in Rose's voice when she promise Jack that she'll 'never let go', all emotional whirlwinds.

But the scene that really tugged on our heart strings and made us fall for Leo DiCaprio even more (if that's even possible), was when he danced hand in hand with his 'best girl'.

No, not Rose, the adorable Cora Cartmell.

Actress Alexandra Owens was only 9 years old when she played Cora in the blockbuster film in 1997, and we haven't seen much of her since then.

According to her Facebook page, she's still persuing an acting career and recently posted a photo of the most ADORABLE childhood essay that she wrote about her life filming Titanic.

Now though, she's 26 (yes, it's been that long since the film) and looks amazing:

There's not too much on her Instagram at the moment, but our favourite post is a throwback to her childhood headshots.

Alexandra's scene with Jack made her the envy of little girls (and women) everywhere. But to make up for it, you can watch this and pretend that Leo is actually dancing with you:
