A year ago, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt went on a 'working honeymoon,' where they shot By the Sea in Malta.
Today, the first trailer has arrived, and it's intense. Set in the 1970s, the two play a couple on a last getaway to save their marriage. There's arguing, tears, and slapping:

Jolie, who wrote and directed the drama, told People that directing her husband was particularly difficult in those more intense moments. 'It was hardest [when] I was directing our fight scenes,' she said. 'I understand and appreciate his creative process and his work ethic even more than before.' The film hits theaters November 13.
