Everyone knows that Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are real-life BFFs after their 10-season run on Friends; and Courteney was Jen's maid of honor at her recent wedding (she married Justin Theroux). But apparently not all of theFriends cast is as close to the newly betrothed couple as the one who played Monica.

While Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) was also in attendance, People recently reported that Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry—Joey and Chandler, respectively—were not. And while it's easy to assume their absence was due to a scheduling conflict, it's in fact because they weren't invited. (That, or their invitations were lost in the mail.)

'I think they're a great couple. I think she's happy. And that's all I care about is that Jen's happy,' Leblanc told People. 'If she wanted me there, I would have been there.'

Perry said he was as shocked as everyone else when news broke that the wedding had gone down. 'It was a surprise to me as well,' he said. 'They're a lovely couple and I'm happy for them.' So why wasn't he there? 'I wasn't invited. So what can you do?'

As People notes, the wedding was an 'intimate affair by Hollywood standards'—but there were 70-plus family members and friends invited. So, sue me for saying it, but it feels a bit like a snub that these two were left off the guest list.

At the end of the day, Jen can do whatever she wants—it's her wedding. And at least she's found found her lobster.
