For celebrities, it's very important to be up on the newest trends. This is true for everything from fashions and haircuts to workouts and social media habits. For instance, if Beyoncé is getting a lob, errrrybody is getting a lob (see also: wedge sneakers, crop tops, and that crazy trapeze yoga thing every Victoria's Secret model and Lena Dunham did). Another example: Baby hands.

The Instagrammed baby hand is a thing. It's basically the ultimate way to do a baby reveal—you're not showing the baby's face, which is a good strategy if you want to save that for a People magazine cover, keep things more private, or, you know, for any other reasons (ahem, a little hand is always adorable).  It's the chicest, cutest proof of life. And eeerrrrybody's doing it:

An early adopter of the trend is obviously Kim Kardashian, since she's an early adopter of every trend. She posted this photo of North's teeny hand holding ginormous engagement ring eons ago:

Sweet!

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds also went for it:

Liv Tyler posted a double whammy of an Instagram, debuting her new baby and his name in one handful:

Kristin Cavallari, lifestyle expert, tried it out:

And Rachel Bilson is the latest celeb to baby-hand it:

Even Taylor Swift, who is baby-less, managed to get a baby hand into her feed:

The less popular, but still cool, take on the trend is the baby feet shot. Zoe Saldana and  Beyoncé did the footsie reveal thing, but even celebrities who have successfully pulled off the baby hand have gone for the foot, too—always best to cover your bases in cases like this, right?

And for pregnant celebrities who want to be in on this, but can't wait for the arrival of their baby hand/foot, they're posting proof that life is coming: baby shoes that will one day grace their future baby feet.

But have no fear, single humans out there, you don't need to have an actual baby to be cool like Beyoncé and Blake Lively—and you don't even need to procure an actual baby à la Taylor Swift. All you need is a little hand:

Et voilà. CUTE, RIGHT?
