Edith Bowman is ELLE's new Music Editor. Every week she'll be reporting on ELLEUK.COM telling us who to download and listen to immediately.

This week she recommending:

Natasha Khan & Dan Carey & Toy

When I get an email through with the name Natasha Khan in the subject heading, I pay attention.  Sexwitch comes from international record shopping and reworking lyrics and arrangements from their finds around Morocco, Thailand, Iran and the USA to produce six fantastic pieces. What a wonderful and positive way to celebrate cultures from around the world in music form.

'Earth Not Above' by Haelos

This is such an exciting band. HAELOS are a London trio who are putting the finishing touches to their debut album. They have perfect synergy on this video between the audio and visuals. A lovely subtle narrative filmed by Jesse Jenkins over the most incredible tune that builds tension and atmosphere like it's a film soundtrack. I can't wait to see them live.

Plus three new artists to watch:

1. Siobhan Wilson

A young singer songwriter from Scotland who blew my socks off when she played live on my radio show a few weeks ago.  Her new EP 'Say It’s True' is breathtaking, and shows the diversity of her voice which she uses to perfection as a proper instrument. Multi talented and multi instrumentalist, I’m very excited about what’s to come from her.

2. Only Girl

I don’t know much about her apart from I LOVE what I hear, it’s like a cross between Jessie Ware and Mariah Carey. Amazing.

3. Gwenno - Y Dydd Olaf

Not entirely a new artist as she has been part of both the Pipettes and toured with Pnau, Gwenno is at the beginning of what I think is an exciting journey as a solo artist. Her whole album is sung in Welsh but please don’t let that put you off. It hasn’t done with me and Sigur Ros or a lot of Super Furry Animals or loads of other non english speaking music makers - who are all fans.
