Kanye West blew minds last Sunday when he announced he'd run for president in 2020 during an unexpected speech at MTV's VMAs.

"Listen to the kids, bro," Yeezus implored. Um ok, sure man. Confusing or not, some citizens were clearly ready to listen to Kanye. Less than 24 hours after the VMAs aired, a Maryland man had already filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to create the political action committee, Ready for Kanye.

But Kanye knew that if he really wanted to be president, he'd need to appeal to more than just his hardcore audience. Which is why he followed up his VMA speech by telling TMZ that, "If I win, everyone gets Yeezys," referring to his insanely popular, insanely expensive line of Adidas shoes.

Finally a campaign platform Americans can get behind.
