Following  Kanye West's announcement that he plans to run for president in 2020, a lot of peoplehave weighed in on his chances and their own plans to vote Yeezus. Donald Trump, currently in the process of running for the 2016 election, says he hopes to run against him. Now Chelsea Clinton, daughter of 2016 candidate Hillary Clinton, has offered her thoughts on the matter. Ever the child of two career politicians, Chelsea expressed enthusiasm for Kanye's run but was coy about whether or not she'd vote for him.

"I definitely think who runs for office is really important," she told MTV News. "Even if him just saying that helps spark a little boy or a little girl who was watching the VMAs to think, 'Oh, wow! Maybe I should do that,' that's awesome." But while she finds his presidency bid potentially inspiring, she said her decision to vote Kanye would depend on who he's running against. After all, if everything goes according to plan, he'd be running against her mom in 2020. How could you ever choose in such a situation?

Kanye's presidential ambition also made the cover of The New Yorker this week, in a parody of the famous photograph of Harry S. Truman holding a newspaper incorrectly reading "Dewey Defeats Truman." "When one considers Mr. West, it doesn't take a whole lot of imagination to be reminded of another scrappy kid who won the Presidency, back in 1948, against all odds," the cover artist Barry Blitt said of his inspiration. "The press wrote him off, too."
