In a new interview with The Daily Beast, Kristen Stewart got real about how terrible her first kiss was. She was already a successful actor by the time it happened, but not even her burgeoning fame and talent could save her. 'It was horrible!' she said. 'It was so bad. It was fucking repulsive. I was 14 and it was gross. It was not good.' Note that she uses five different adjectives to get her point across, so it must have been really, truly disgusting. Way to go, whoever made that happen. You scarred Kristen Stewart for life.

On a more serious note, Kristen discussed Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who refuses to issue marriage licenses for same-sex couples and by extension refuses to leave the headlines. Kristen gave a remarkably measured answer on the topic, saying that she feels sorry for Davis more than anything else. 'Honestly, it makes me so deeply uncomfortable,' she said. 'I feel really bad for her. Anyone who's so closed off to things that are so apparent? Imagine what else she's missing out on in life.' The Daily Beast's writer prompts her by adding, 'To have that much hate in your heart must be awful,' and Kristen agrees. 'That's why I feel bad for her,' she explains. 'It's like, 'Oh, buddy, that must suck.' That fear of the unknown cripples people, breeds hate, and it's just very sad.'
