Salma Hayek is the latest person to join the chorus of celebrities calling for more action to be taken on the refugee crisis. Hayek is the co-founder of Chime For Change, whose other co-founder is Beyonce, and is a vocal activist in raising awareness about violence against women and discrimination against immigrants.
She has joined Global Citizen to call on David Cameron to take more action to tackle to refugee crisis. Hayek, Angelina Jolie, JK Rowling, Benedict Cumberbatch, Caitlin Moran and several other celebrities have taken a compassionate stand on the crisis and are using their huge platforms to garner support.
