Jennifer Lawrence isn't known for following the celebrity rulebook.
And when it came to congratulating close friend Amy Schumer on her Emmy win for eponymous show on Sunday, Inside Amy Schumer, a simple 'congrats' text wasn't enough.
J Law flooded the comedians hotel room with giant balloons and streamers to make her pal feel extra special after the win, which left her with just enough space above her head to stand up clutching her award for Outstanding Variety Sketch.
Amy posted a snap of the exuberant gesture on Instagram with the caption: 'Never tell Jennifer L your room number'.
Jennifer, who had to give the awards a miss, sent her friend a cheeky congratulatory SMS shortly after the ceremony.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight Amy said: 'c she said that I looked pretty but not smart.'
Amy referenced Jen as the real funny women, and gushed about their upcoming film, which they co-wrote: 'She's the real deal funny'.
‘My sister and Jen and I wrote a movie together so we're gonna hopefully be shooting that in a year or something. We're busy!'
We can't wait for this film to come to a screen near us soon....
