Lily-Rose Depp turned 16 in May this year and is celebrating it in a massive way - she's already bagged her first acting role as Natalie Portman's sister in a drama called Planetarium, and now Variety has announced she's signed on to another movie. This time, she'll be taking on the role of Isadora Duncan in Stephanie Di Giusto's directorial debut, The Dancer.

The film is based on the real life tale of Loie Fuller, the American performer and trailbazer born in 1862, who pioneered modern dance.

Lily-Rose plays fellow pioneer Isadora Duncan, a character from San Francisco, who grew up in poverty but achieved global fame through her dancing skills- Variety reports.

Filming begins on 28 September and we're really excited to see Lily-Rose come into her own on the big screen.

We're so happy that she's following in Johnny and Vanessa Paradis' footsteps.
