Today, Alexander Wang presented his final collection as the designer for Balenciaga (his first collection for the house was fall 2013), and to put it bluntly: It's obvious he has zero cares left to give. He put on a fun, irreverent, and thoroughly Wang-esque show that may rub some the wrong way. But we were feeling it. Here, five things you should know about Wang's swan song collection for Balenciaga.

The Colour Palette

All white everything: like the theme of every early 2000s party or a visual palate cleanser. As Wang makes his exit, he's literally whitewashing the brand to make way for the next designer.

The Soundtrack

Did you know Wang was from California? If you didn't before, you definitely learned today. A stripped-down dreamy version of Biggie Smalls' "Going Back to Cali" and "Nuthin But a G Thang" by Dr. Dre played while models walked the powder pink carpeted runway. The show closed with Tupac's "California Love," driving home his exit from Paris.

The Bags

Models wore fanny packs, held miniature golden cross bodys, or carried white macramé clutches and totes complete with fringe.

Zoë Kravitz the Model

Who else would Wang have by his side but bestie Zoë Kravitz? The 5'2" actress and singer joined Hanne Gaby Odiele, Lineisy Montero, and other major models at the designer's swan song.

Wang's Final Bow

Speaking of swan song, Wang really went for it. Instead of simply walking out and taking a bow, he ran the entire runway, took selfies, and almost fell into the water basins that lined the middle of the runway before leaving the house of Balenciaga.
