Filming for the third Bridget Jones film, Bridget Jones's Baby, is well underway, and Renée Zellweger's been papped having a waddle around Islington in North London as a very pregnant Bridget Jones herself.
BUT WHAT MADNESS IS THIS, in the third Bridget Jones book, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, she's not pregnant and (spoiler alert) is busy raising her children while she mourns the tragic death of her husband, Mark Darcy, who she was engaged to at the end of the second book, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.
The third film is said to be based around old Bridget Jones columns by author Helen Fielding, rather than on the third book.
Colin Firth's been papped on the set too, so full confirmation that his character's not dead (yet) and is coming back for the third film.
IMDB are being sneaky with the cast detailing, and only list Zellweger and Firth, along with Patrick Demspey (Grey's Anatomy's McDreamy) - but plot details are being kept under wraps for that one so who KNOWS who he's gonna end up as.
Hugh Grant's confirmed he will not be joining the cast, but there is a feature by non other than Mr Ed Sheeran.
Intriguing.
