Update, 10/21: E! News reports that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are ending divorce proceedings. Though they filed for divorce in July, the documents had yet to be signed by a judge. Today, Kardashian's lawyer filed a petition to withdraw their case, and the petition was granted.
For the past week, Khloé Kardashian has reportedly been bedside with Lamar Odom during his hospitalization. This afternoon, she broke her silence with a statement on her site, thanking everyone for their support and expressing how hard it's been:
As his condition improves, Odom is reportedly being transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles.
Update, 10/18: Lamar Odom continues to make substantial progress as he recovers from a medically-induced coma, according to TMZ. While he isn't 'out of the woods' yet, he has opened his eyes and exchanged words with Khloé and Kim Kardashian as well as Kendall and Kris Jenner.
While Khloé has remained by Odom's bedside at his Las Vegas hospital room, Kendall, Kris and Kim flew into Sin City to see him once they heard about his improved condition. The visit resulted in a hopeful Instagram message from Kim, her first social media post since her brother-in-law's hospitalisation.
Accompanied by a throwback shot of her and the former NBA player dancing, Kim wrote: 'I have faith in you. I believe in the power of prayer and positive energy! Thank you for all your prayers! Lammy, I'm so happy Kendall & I could make you smile today! God is good!'
Update, 10/15: Though he is still in critical condition, ET Online is reporting Lamar Odom has shown small signs of slight improvement. According to a source close to Odom, he 'briefly fluttered open his eyes and at one point Kim Kardashian believed he squeezed her hand.'
Odom has been placed in a medically-induced coma as he is being monitored for serious organ damage and kidney failure. These glimmers of hope are small but positive news for the former NBA player and the family and friends, including Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian and estranged wife Khloé, who have reportedly joined him at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Original Story, 10/14: Yesterday, Khloé Kardashian's former husband Lamar Odom was hospitalized after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel, Us Weekly reports. He remains in critical condition with Kris Jenner, Kim, and Khloé reportedly at his side. Kendall Jenner was the first to break the family's silence following the news. She posted the following tweet this morning from Shanghai, where she's attending fashion week:
According to Odom's rep, 'Family and friends are extremely concerned for Lamar.' But, she warns, some of the reports out there are false: 'Please don't listen to the false information being circulated unofficially. Please respect the family's privacy during this difficult time.'
