Kim might be the social media matriarch of Kardashian/Jenner clan, but it's King Kylie who is in the lead when it comes to the family's personal apps, with Khloé, Kendall and Kim way off the 18-year-old's massive following.
In an interview with Time Magazine (who have named Kylie one of the 30 most influential teens of 2015), she explained what makes her app the most popular one in her family.
'Kim's older, she has a different fanbase, and she's also — the difference between our apps is hers is very perfect. It's simple, everything is black and white,' she said of Kim's more calculated approach to her app's content. 'Mine is more, I invite the cameras over and say, 'Oh, hey, let's just do this.' We do makeup tutorials and I'm laughing and talking. I know my fans are my age or younger than me, so, I just like to show my personality and show my fans my home and my dogs. I get really personal.'
'I'm on Snapchat,' she continued. 'I'm just like them at the end of the day. Kim's more private. She has kids. It's just different.'
But just because Kylie's youth-appeal and more personal approach has made her top of the pile, she still has respect for what her older sister has achieved.
'Kim is so inspirational and she has the biggest drive,' Kylie shared. 'She's so dedicated, she's so smart, she's such a businesswoman, and she's always doing something and thinking of new ideas. She has inspired me to have a great work ethic.'
So it's all friendly competition... for now.
