There's this singer called Adele, she released a song a couple of weeks ago that smashed the US download record (1.1 million in a week), has been watched 309 million times on YouTube and has turned the flip phone into a cultural talking point. I think the song is called Hello.

After a four year gap between the release of her second album, 21, which introduced us to the heartbreak ballad to end all heartbreak ballads: 'Someone Like You', Adele's hiatus is to be broken on 20 November, when the ingeniously named 25 will hit shelves and download queues, in what is set to be the biggest album release of the year.

In an emotional open letter to fans, Adele apologised to fans for the long wait, saying: 'My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.'

Although she says this a make-up record, a look at the track listing below shows that 25 possesses ample potential for strife, heart ache and staring forlornly out of misty windows as rain clouds swell above.

The full album listing goes as follows:

1. Hello
2. Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
3. I Miss You
4. When We Were Young
5. Remedy
6. Water Under The Bridge
7. River Lea
8. Love In The Dark
9. Million Years Ago
10. All I Ask
11. Sweetest Devotion

And just in case you needed some inspiration before the album's release on the 20th...
