What we kind of knew all along – that the man can dress his feet – was confirmed last night at an award ceremony in New York, when Kanye won the ‘Shoe of the Year’ Award. The shoe in question, his Yeezy Boost 350, was designed in collaboration with Adidas. His acceptance speech documented the journey of the Yeezy Boost, from its immaculate conception which, Kanye told us, happened right after that moment with Taylor Swift at the VMAs. After the rather public debacle, Kayne went to japan to decompress: “I sort of did a little self-exile just to get away from the paparazzi, have people not f–cking with me constantly.”

Kim was, as always, there to honour her husband through all the social media streams in her arsenal:

Riding on this Yeezy Boost (geddit?) a smiley Kanye reassured everyone that he isn’t quitting the fashion business anytime soon as he’s not “planning on being broke.” Hurrah!
