In our minds, Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston's wedding and honeymoon would have been picture perfect, just like that film she starred in back in 1997.
But new husband Justin has recently described a terrifying near-death experience while diving on his honeymoon in Bora Bora with new wife Jen, and it makes you realise how it all could have ended tragically.
Talking to the hosts during an appearance of Live With Kelly And Michael, the 44-year-old actor and director revealed that he was scuba diving with an instructor and some friends when he noticed he had hardly any oxygen left in his tank.
It doesn't sound as if Jennifer was with him at the time, but Justin recalled how he inevitably started to panic. Describing how he was down "pretty deep" underwater, he noticed his oxygen was low and tried to communicate to his instructor, who was French and didn't understand English very well.
'I was using every hand signal I could possibly figure out,' Justin - who was, by this point, 'really deep in the red' - told the presenters. And it gets even scarier. Attempting to sign to one of his friends what was going on, he explained that, through eye contact, his pal thought he was about to watch his friend die.
'I'm trying to enjoy [the experience],' Justin recalled, 'but I'm distracted 'cause I want some oxygen!'
It was only at this point that the instructor then gave Justin an emergency respirator that sent 'bubbles everywhere and water down my throat... Now, I'm like coughing and panicking. It's not a great feeling,' he terrifyingly described. 'Your brain goes into a crazy place,' he continued, saying he genuinely believed, 'Oh my God, this is some plot to kill me.'
But thankfully, Justin made it back up to the safety of the surface, and recovered quickly from his ordeal. Still, though, that's enough to make anyone avoid water for life. And we're sure Jennifer was there to make it all better afterwards.
