In totally unexpected, but squint-and-it-almost-makes-sense news, Miley Cyrus will be starring in Woody Allen's upcoming Amazon project. Deadline reports that Allen has cast Cyrus and iconic comedienne (and Mike Nichols muse) Elaine May to appear alongside the director in the six half-hour-episode series, which begins filming in March. Though not much is known about the project, the series will take place in the '60s.
Which means...Miley in bellbottoms? Miley singing The Beatles? Miley at Woodstock?
