Titanic’s Jack and Rose may well be one of the silver screen’s greatest love stories, but as anyone who has watched the film will agree, some seriously un-lovely stuff goes down in its most-iconic scene.

You know the one; they’re shivering in the ocean, Rose safe on a floating door, Jack not so much - despite the fact the door could clearly take both of them. Then to top it all off, Rose says she’ll “never let go” but then does and a frozen Leo, sorry Jack, sinks to the bottom of the sea.

It’s been a point of contention for nearly 20 years now (yes, it came out in 1997. 1997!) and finally Kate Winslet, who played Rose, has acknowledged that Jack could indeed have squeezed on.

“I think he could have actually fit on that bit of door," she said on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Finally, justice for Jack.

Although, the film just wouldn’t have been as good if they had both live, would it?
