Taylor Swift became the first woman to win Album of the Year twice last night as she collected the award for her album 1989.

Of course Taylor was never going to just say thank you and leave the stage. No, she used her speech as a mantra of empowerment and of course, to finally out Kanye for using her name in his song. In case you’ve been under a rock, without your iPhone – Kanye in his song ‘Famous’ claims, ‘I made that bitch famous’ - and it's been causing a lot of upset (see how taylor's squad responded).

It's clear Taylor is having none of it either, she took to the stage to say; ‘As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there: “There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world”. Thank you for this moment.’

Selena Gomez, Taylor date for the night, stood to applaud tearily. And we stand right there with her.
