Is there such a thing as too much Scarlett Johansson?

If Ricky Ma's creation is anything to go by, then 'no' seems to be the answer.

The 42-year-old Hong Kong based designer recently created a female humanoid robot - and it looks a lot like Scarlett Johansson. Ma reportedly spent a year and a half creating the Johansson-lookalike robot that he refers to as "Mark 1."

In case you've forgotten, this is what Scarlett Johnasson looks like:

And this is what robo Scar Jo looks like:

We think it's a pretty good likeness. Ma, however, refuses to confirm that the robot is based on the actress.

According to Reuters, the designer has been obsessed with robotic creations since he was a child and has sunk $50,000 into this creation. It's made from 3D-printed parts and silicone skin, and can display facial expressions such as smiling and winking.

"Mark 1" can also move her arms and legs and, most alarmingly of all, says "Hehe, thank you" when given a compliment.

The designer believes that robots are only going to play an increasingly important role in our society, but is it OK to replicate a real person with one?
