Book Clubs are big news for 2016 - Emma Watson and Florence Welsh have already started them. Now ELLE favourite Lena Dunham has announced that she will be going one step further and is launching her own publishing line - Lenny books -  with partner and best friend, Jenni Konner.

The imprint will sit inside Random House (who published Lena’s book Not That Kind Of Girl last year) and have released a statement saying; said the imprint will ‘be a home for the kinds of exciting, emerging voices—in fiction and nonfiction—that Lena and Jenni Konner are already attracting and publishing so successfully.’

Speaking to Buzzfeed Lena said; ‘While we love our home on the Internet, Jenni and I are both voracious readers (of books and book reviews) who are constantly trading titles and allowing them to stir us creatively. Our friendship often doubles as a book club. Lenny books will aspire to push the ball forward on the issues that matter to our audience, with wit and style. We hope to see them sticking out of purses and riding public transportation everywhere.’
