Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles has posted a telling message on her Instagram account, referencing 'Lemonade' - Bey's freshly released visual album.

Long before the days of Kris Jenner internet dominance, you might remember that Tina Knowles was the original 'momager.'

At first, she dedicated herself to designing the very many (and often very bedazzled) costumes for Destiny's Child, but with her husband Mathew Knowles being the band's manager, it was only a matter of time before Tina was calling a lot of the shots.

A woman unashamed about voicing her opinions - she's appeared on The View and even published a book about Destiny's Child - it was only a matter of time before she had something to say about Beyoncé's incredible, incendiary new album 'Lemonade.'

Posting a picture of her clutching a mason jar of lemonade on Instagram, she captioned the snap:

'Toast to lemonade. B worked so hard on this project day and night ! It was soo important to her to offer something that would bring about healing and hope to the universe! No matter what you've gone thru in life you can always come out on the other side.'

Many have now started to discuss whether this 'healing' and mention of what Bey has 'gone thru' [sic] is confirmation that the album is, indeed, about the marriage struggles between her daughter and Jay-Z or, as many are positing, whether it might actually refer to her own public marital battles.

She filed for divorce from Mathew Knowles in 2009, after similar cheating rumours and the suggestion that he had fathered a love child.
