As you've probably heard already, Zayn Malik has released his video for 'Like I know.'

And while most people seem to be fixated on his strange orange bionic eye / Kanye West contact lens, we're more concerned with how 90s the whole thing feels.

Produced by Director X (famed for Rihanna's 'Werk' and Drake's 'Hotline Bling') the video is full of the neon lights and people in silhouette that we've all come to expect.

But with the addition of all the smoke, lasers and gyrating girls in booty shorts, we can't help but think that this video is an excellent tribute to Jennifer Lopez's millennium party single, 'Waiting For Tonight.'

Interesting that the millennium was supposed to herald the era of the future and we're still, a decade and a half later, referencing modern technology by dressing like Tron and wearing fancy contact lenses.

Either way, we love it both songs, so this is a great excuse for a Malik-Lopez Tuesday morning playlist.
