Debbie Harry and Chris Stein are bringing Blondie back with an album that stands to have a pretty impressive cast of collaborations.

It's been a little while, but 'Heart of Glass' and 'Call Me' fans won't have to wait much longer for a Blondie fix, as Stein has let it slip that the album is all but finished, with some tracks just waiting for Harry's vocals.

Speaking to Charli XCX on her Beats 1 radio show, Blondie dropped some big names, citing Sia and 'that guy from The Strokes' as potential collaborators.

There is also the suggestion, but bear in mind it is just a suggestion at this point, that Kanya has been sounded out for some form of involvement.

According to Stein, 'We had a phone conversation with Kanye, Debbie's met him once or twice, and he's so nice.'

So that's some rapping samples, weird contact lenses and embellished jackets we can expect too then?

Either way, we're ridiculously excited for this revival of the '80s dream team.

Watch this space for the album release...
