I study grit because I think it's accessible to all of us. Psychological scientists like me have been studying achievement for decades, and we know something about its origins. These insights provide something of a road map to cultivating our own passion and perseverance, not only so we can achieve success personally, but also so we can contribute to the well-being of others.
