But sometimes, people use the internet for ill-educated and offensive motives.

Yesterday, a Twitter user posted a disgusting question relating to the newly-released film The Purge: Election Year which centres around citizens in Washington D.C who are permitted to commit any crime for 12 hours, without consequence.
The tweet, which has now been removed, accompanied a picture including Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, and Rihanna and read:

The 19-year-old star was informed of the tweet and Tweeted:
Afterwards, the Twitter user joked the Spider-Man Homecoming actress response was 'lit' (colloquially meaning something fun or exciting is happening), to which she replied:
Hear hear, Zendaya.
