When it comes to the return of Sex and the City, it's safe to say Sarah Jessica Parker likes to tease us. Following hints that a third movie might be in the works back in May, the star of the hit TV show has revealed there's every chance she could reprise her most famous role.

The 51-year-old actress told the Press Association there is 'always a possibility' that Carrie Bradshaw will make a comeback.

"I don't think any of us have said no," Parker said, referring to her co-stars Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. "I don't know whether it's a series or the movie.

"I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it's been resolved," she added.

"I think that's always a possibility, definitely."

Parker made her last appearance alongside her SATC co-stars in 2012, when the secondmovie hit screens, but fans of the actress don't have to wait long to see her back on television. SJP is currently starring in a new comedy, Divorce, which will air on Sky Atlantic this October.

Parker, who has been married to actor Matthew Broderick for 19 years, revealed why she was drawn to the show, which tells the story of a couple whose marriage is falling apart.

"I hadn't seen in cinema for a long time, a portrait of a marriage - a middle-class marriage in a lot of ways - that was inhabited by people we all know and see on the subway or the metro or the train or in a car next to us," she told PA.

With a strong cast - Parker stars alongside Hollywood actorThomas Haden Church - Divorce is set to be a big hit this autumn. We'd still like to know exactly when we can next see Carrie Bradshaw, though.
