Congratulations to Adele, who - after months of our nosey speculation - has officially confirmed that she's married.

And while she didn't mention the name of long-term partner and baby daddy Simon Konecki, we think we can safely assume it's him.

The Hello singer made the admission on stage in Brisbane during her current tour Down Under.

When introducing Someone Like You, her 2011 hit depicting the pain and torment of a bad breakup, she said (via a fan's video uploaded to YouTube): "That feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth.

"And I am addicted to that feeling. Obviously, I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now. I've found my next person."

Adele had prompted rumours that she had tied the knot with Konecki - with whom she has four-year-old son Angelo - while accepting one of her five Grammy Awards last month.

"Grammys, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband and my son - you're the only reason I do it," the 28-year-old star emotionally addressed the audience at the annual ceremony.

She later referred to Konecki - a former financier who founded clean water charity drop4drop - as her "partner" while speaking to reporters backstage.

Speaking previously about raising their child as a feminist, Adele said: "I'm raising him [Angelo] to respect women. He knows I'm a powerful force.

"He feels it at home, let alone when he comes to work with me. And he comes everywhere with me anyway!"
