During his recent two-day visit to France, Donald Trump was criticised for making "creepy" remarks to First Lady Brigitte Macron. Now, Reebok has chimed in on the controversy by tweeting a flowchart which outlines a few of the situations in which his comments might be "appropriate".

The tweet comes after the US President and First Lady Melania met the French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife in Paris at the Hotel des Invalides, where they were given a historical tour of the site.

At the end of the tour, Trump was caught on camera saying to Brigitte: "You're in such good shape." He was then seen turning to Emmanuel Macron, gesturing at his wife's body, and saying: "She's in such good physical shape. Beautiful."

The remarks did not go down well, and were labelled "inappropriate" and "sexist" on Twitter and by basically the whole of womankind.

Reebok was left equally as disturbed by the awkward encounter. So, the sportswear brand shared this infographic and helped to spread the word that commenting on body shape is just not okay.
