Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston are assuring the world that love is alive and well with a romantic selfie to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

Just as we were coming to terms with Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's shock split, the Leftovers actor shared a rare picture of himself looking loved-up with wife Aniston, who is kissing him tenderly on the cheek.

The actor added a series of emojis in the caption, including a bow and arrow, a big read heart, and a peace sign as the pair mark two years of being being husband and wife.

The couple tied the knot in a low-key ceremony with friends and family at their lavish home in LA back in 2015.

In an attempt to keep their nuptials top secret, the pair reportedly told guests it was a party to celebrate Theroux's 44th birthday. Attendees included John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Lisa Kudrow, Howard Stern, Sia, Chelsea Handler, Lake Bell, Ellen DeGeneres, and Terry Richardson.

"It's so much more special when it's just your closest friends and family and it's lovely," he told ET about their big day.

"[Aniston and I] wanted it to be a peaceful environment, you don't want it to be hectic."

Reflecting on their marriage earlier this year, Theroux told Rhapsody magazine for United Airlines: "Marriage makes the small things much smaller and the big things small.

"You have an ally. It's good to have someone have your back."

Meanwhile, Theroux has finished his HBO cult series The Leftovers, while Aniston is set to make her very welcome TV comeback after 13 years opposite Reese Witherspoon.

The pair will star together on a currently-untitled comedy series based on the world of the New York media.

Congrats Justin and Jennifer...
