Carrie Fisher continues to live up to her legacy as a formidable woman and unstoppable force.
A long-time friend of the late actress named Heather Ross called into Tucson radio station 94.9 MixFM to join a discussion about the ongoing claims of sexual misconduct being made against film producer Harvey Weinstein.
While Ross said she had never met Weinstein, she spoke out about an incident concerning another 'Oscar-winning producer'.
Back in 2000, Ross claims that the unnamed man picked her up in his car to take her out for what was meant to be a business dinner, before pulling the car over and pushing her against the car seat and pinning her down.
Luckily Ross was able to get out of the situation quickly, and later went on to confide in Fisher about her frightening experience, and ask for her advice.
The Star Wars actress made it very clear how she felt about sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour, and apparently hand-delivered a gift-wrapped gift to the producer.
'About two weeks later, she [Fisher] sent me a message online and she said, 'I just saw (blank) at Sony Studios',' Ross recalled.
''I knew he would probably be there, so I went to his office and personally delivered a Tiffany box wrapped with a white bow'.'
She continued: 'I asked her what was inside and she said, 'It was a cow tongue from Jerry's Famous Deli in Westwood with a note that said, 'If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box!''
According to Ross, Fisher made sure she personally gave the gift to the alleged perpetrator, adding: 'That's just how she was.
'I miss her dearly. She stood up for people... she put things out there and in your face.'
Ross also disclosed that she had initially thought she would be 'protected' in the industry because she didn't fit in with Hollywood's standards of beauty, but her experience confirms that sexual assault can happen to all women and men.
The Big Bang Theory actress Mayim Bialik had been criticised for ignoring in in her op-ed in The New York Times that the motive behind sexual assault is often power, and not necessarily sexual desire.
Bialik had written that the upside of not being a 'perfect ten', and 'a proud feminist with little desire to diet, get plastic surgery or hire a personal trainer, I have almost no personal experience with men asking me to meetings in their hotel rooms'.
