As it turns out, Jennifer Lawrence has a very special relationship with America's first family - the Kardashians.
When she was filming her latest flick Mother!, the actress found herself in a dark place psychologically. But who did she turn to in her hour of need? Not a psychiatrist, but the Kardashian-West-Jenner family to bring her comfort and lols.
Allowing us further insight into this little understood celebrity friendship, Jennifer Lawrence sat in for Jimmy Kimmel last night, acting as a substitute chat show host. And she demanded that Kim Kardashian be her first guest.
And quite unexpectedly, the 17 minute long segment was a barrel of snort-laughs, with all sorts of playfulness and tomfoolery coming out for the audience.
The Oscar-winning 27-year-old revealed that, at a recent intimate dinner hosted by Kris Jenner - she got so drunk that she stripped naked in Kris' closet and demanded to be styled for the evening by the Kardashian-Wests.
'I drank five martinis and wound up naked in her [Kris'] closet, I'm dead serious,' the Mother! star recalled.
Kim, who doesn't drink alcohol so can probably give us the most accurate account of the evening, relayed: 'So Jennifer came over for dinner two weeks ago, I've never seen my mom more drunk in our lives.
'It was so funny. They had a few too many drinks for my taste.'
Lawrence confessed: 'I remember getting naked in your mom's closet and ordering you to dress me. You dressed me fabulously, I looked amazing.'
Kim says she almost recruited husband Kanye to help with the styling, before Lawrence began to take off all of her clothes.
'You said, 'I'm not joking I really want Kanye to style me and so I said, 'Okay.' I come back in and you're fully butt naked,' Kim revealed.
'I feel like I know you so well now.'
Lawrence previously met Kris at her 25th birthday party when the manager jumped out of her cake to surprise her.
Other moments during the interview which prompted guffaws were when J-Law asked if Kim thought it was a co-incidence that her ex-boyfriend Ray J was now dating a Kim Kardashian lookalike.
Or when Jennifer Lawrence asked Kim what she thought of Selena Gomez getting back with Justin Bieber.
What we'd give for a night out (or in) with these two...
