Khloe Kardashian Hits Back At Criticism Over Her Workouts While Pregnant

The star clarified on Twitter that her doctor had okayed her workouts.

We knew it would be only a matter of time before Khloe Kardashian - a fitness enthusiast who also happens to be pregnant - would be hitting back at criticism over her workout routines.

The 33-year-old reality TV star - who is expecting her first child with basketball player Tristan Thompson - fired back at the negativity online after sharing videos of herself exercising on Snapchat.

'For the ones who think they are physicians all of a sudden,' Khloe began on Twitter along with the face-palm emoji, 'but MY doctor and I communicate and my workouts are cleared and highly recommended.

'Thanks kiddos! Don't make me stop sharing s**t.'

Khloe also shared a link to a fitpregnancy.com article, titled 33 Reasons To Exercise Now with the subheading: 'The benefits of exercising during pregnancy begin immediately and will last your whole life'.

She also replied to a Tweet from one fan who had posted in her defence: 'I wondered how long it would be until people started shit with you about working out.

'God forbid a pregnant woman be healthy.'

Khloe tweeted a 'lol' and red heart emoji in response.

Just over a week ago, Khloe finally confirmed her pregnancy after months of speculation.

She began her message: ''My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby!' before going in to detail about their life together.

The star then turned her attention to her boyfriend of one year: 'Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!!'

She added: 'Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we've been keeping this quite but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us.'
