12 Ways Jennifer Lopez Makes 48 Look 28
Plus all the ways she makes 48 look 28
She works out early
Taking to Instagram, Jlo shared a pic of her new leggings before starting her morning working routine. With the caption "Up and at 'em rise and shine...about to get in this workout in my new leggings" you can tell she didn't get that body by hitting snooze every morning.
She swears by glycolic acid
Glycolic acid skincare works as a chemical exfoliator on the skin by dissolving dead skin cells and gently resurfacing. As well as removing dead surface cells it also encourages cell turnover, which is ideal for sun-damaged, mature skin. So it's no wonder that Jennifer revealed to People that she loves using glycolic for a "healthy glow".

She fills up on protein
It doesn't take a genius to work out that Jlo has a very clean diet...I mean just look at the six pack, but that doesn't mean she doesn't get cravings. The only difference (literally, the only single one...) between myself and Jlo is the fact she doesn't give into those cravings and instead fills up on protein, as she told Hello:
"Protein is my go-to whenever I start having cravings. It fills me up and keeps me full longer. It's a great muscle fuel."
She never sunbathes
And not because she's a descendant of Edward Cullen. It's no secret that UV exposure destroys collagen and elastic fibres in the skin, causing premature ageing. Which is why Jenny from the Block avoids that big, hot, shiny star as much as possible. As she explained to InStyle:
"I am a firm believer in SPF. I try not to stay out in the sun too long."
There are three things she won't touch
We all know that alcohol, coffee and smoking aren't good for our skin, but we still indulge in at least two of them on the regular, not Jlo though, as she told US Weekly:
"I don't drink, smoke, or have caffeine. That really wrecks your skin as you get older." Well that's us screwed then...
She gets a lot of zzz's
There's one thing you won't find Jennifer doing and that's indulging in our favourite night time habit...Netflix, as she explained to InStyle.
"The number one tip is to always get enough sleep. I can't stress this enough. Ideally I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep, but either way, I always make sure I get at least eight."
No sun, lots of sleep...sounds like a vampire to me.
She swears by this moisturiser
Despite reports that Jen smothers herself in £300 pots of La Mer moisturiser, she confessed on an episode of Watch What Happens Live that she actually swears by Dr Hauschka's Rose Day Cream, which she buys in Whole Foods.

She has not one, but two personal trainers
If the thought of hiring a personal trainer terrifies you, spare a thought for Jlo who revealed to US Weekly that she has two.
"When I am in New York I work out with David Kirsch - he's an amazing trainer. When I'm in LA, I work with Tracy Anderson. I like the balance that they both give me. They have two totally different approaches. I like switching it up with my body."
Hmmm maybe we should renew that gym membership after all.
She is religious about cleansing
She drinks more than her 8 glasses
Obviously doing all that exercise works up a thirst, which is why Jen is all about the H20 life, as she told Hello:
"First of all, hydrate. Drinking plenty of water, especially before a workout, can help you push harder and get more out of your exercise routine."
She eats her greens
I know you want us to tell you that Jlo looks like this on a diet of Nandos and diet coke but the truth is eats a very clean, unprocessed diet, as she told US Weekly:
"We eat a lot of green vegetables, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, broccoli and kale. I love to cook, I cook a lot of stuff, I love cooking Puerto Rican food because that's what I grew up on."
