Ibiza isn't just about partying: the island’s energy is really conducive to relaxing, too. My favourite spots range from exclusive five star hotels with exquisite service through to some beautiful little family- run boutique hotels. You don’t need multiple treatment rooms and a flock of therapists to ensure the best treatments. Ibiza has attracted some incredibly talented therapists and bodyworkers to the island – from the high tech to those with more healing, nurturing and intuitive approach.

Es Cucons (escucons.com) is a beautiful little family- run agroturismo (trad farm-houses turned hotels) on the quiet north west side of the island – about as far as you can get from the party zone. Sisters Maria and Barbara and their husbands run this beautiful, boutique spa, which is set in pretty gardens, overlooking the olive groves, and has attracted some of the best of the island's therapists. Treatments range from beauty basics to highly specialist ayurvedic rituals.

A week’s stay including B&B, return flights and transfers from £889 pp.

Cas Gasi (casgasi.com) is another of my favourite family run agroturismos. It’s in the centre of the island, in a beautiful, peaceful location with its own little spa. Margaret, the owner, has given the spa area her full attention and developed a surprisingly extensive spa and wellness menu – ranging from aesthetic anti-aging treatments to osteopathy, acupressure, cupping and reflexology with the island's best experts.

A week’s stay including B&B, return flights and transfers starts from £1010pp.

Aguas de Ibiza (aguasdeibiza.com) was revamped last year, and has an excellent spa with three indoor pools, and lovely Clarins-based treatments. Other therapies include healing facials and body shaping, and the Revival Wellness Club with its high tech gym and a brilliant programme of yoga and fitness is an added bonus.

A week’s stay including B&B, return flights and transfers, starts from £965 pp.

I love Atzaro (atzaro.com) for its perfect blend of Ibiza high style and tranquil escapism, the excellent yoga, spa treatments and healthy food. Built in Balinese style, Atzaro's spa is peaceful and very private with an extensive range of treatments, including some amazing Balinese massages and facials.

A week’s stay, including B&B, flights and transfers starts from £985 pp.

The La Posidonia at the Hacienda Na Xamena has the ultimate spa setting: you can sit in a heated saltwater pool on the edge of the cliff with spectacular panoramic sea views, and wait for treatments including massages, scrubs, hammans and hot stone treatments, as well as anti -ageing therapies and specialist men's treatments too.

A week’s stay in a double room B&B with return flights and transfers starts at £1050 pp.
