George and Amal Clooney officially became first-time parents today, but a week before welcoming their twins, they were hanging out with Barack Obama. The former POTUS stopped by the couple's home in the English countryside on Saturday, May 27 to chill for a few hours.

Obama arrived with heavy security at around 7:15 p.m. local time and stayed until around 11:30 p.m., a source told People. The quick meet-up took place right after the former president met with Prince Harry at Kensington Palace. There aren't many other details about the visit, but we'd like to imagine it included Obama imparting advice about raising two kids (especially a daughter) and perhaps leading a one-on-one swaddling tutorial.

Obama's friendship with the Clooneys goes back pretty far. In January, the pair attended the former First Couple's farewell party at the White House. In 2016, they all participated in a CEO Roundtable about Syrian refugees at the UN.

Way back in 2006—two years before Obama was even elected president—George and Barack teamed up in Washington, D.C. to urge for an end to genocide in Darfur, Sudan.

It looks like George and Amal's twins, Ella and Alexander, already have a pretty solid contender for a godfather.
