Baha Mar — a brand new $4.2 billion mega-resort in the Bahamas — is looking for a new CFO, but you don't need a MBA for this job, because the "F" here doesn't stand for finance. The new Chief Flamingo (!) Officer will be in charge of taking care of the resort's resident flock of flamingos, which will arrive this spring.

If hanging out with flamingos for your 9-5 wasn't enough to convince you to go back to school to major in zoology, this would be your new office:

Before you go and quit your job, know you'll actually need a lot of experience to land this gig. While the Chief Flamingo Officer position is open to both Bahamian locals and applicants from around the globe, you must have a degree in zoology (or a related field) and at least five years of experience working with and caring for exotic birds. The ideal candidate will also have strong people skills, since they will be expected to lead programming to teach resort guests — especially the Baha Mar Explorer's Club for kids — about flamingos, which is the national bird of the Bahamas.

As for the birds themselves, once they arrive, they will live in a "Flamingo Mansion," which will feature both indoor and outdoor elements, as well as aquatic and dry areas for them to call home.

The new flamingo officer will work alongside Baha Mar's Chief Scientist, Vanessa Haley-Benjamin, who runs the Baha Mar Ecological, Aquatic Conservation Habitat Sanctuary (BEACH Sanctuary) at the resort, which is dedicated to preserving and protecting wildlife in the Bahamas. The BEACH Sanctuary is already home to at least half a dozen nurse sharks, a growing school of sting rays, and several Green Sea turtles.
