ART: Affordable Art Fair
We do like it when the name of an event tells you exactly what you're in for. Especially when that’s the chance to buy art from over 110 galleries and 1,100 artists at – you guessed it – an affordable price. Look out for modern-classic Grayson Perry prints from Manifold Editions, starkly beautiful photography from The Artful Project, and The Next Big Thing (TM) at the Recent Graduates Exhibition – they're all on show at Battersea Park this weekend. In short: great for lovers of art, bad for fans of cryptic event names.

DRINK: Les Couilles du Chien
For anyone accusing Soho of losing its filthy-fabulous appeal, may we call the first witness for the defence: new bar Les Couilles du Chien. The name, in case your GCSE French is a little dusty, translates as 'The dog's boll...' (you get the idea). And the cheekiness doesn’t end there: think red neon signage, dim lighting and a bar-food dish with the rather more anglicised title ‘A Load Of Boll...’ (you get the idea). As for the fabulosity? This is the new venture from Michelin-starred restaurant Arbutus, so the decor is super-chic, the cocktail and wine list extensive and the food every bit as inventive as you'd expect. Judge's verdict? Guilty – pleasure, that is.
